The fans suggested it (as he's obviously the only reason we're where we are!), but didn't go through. He's got enough of an ego already! What with the stadium named after him and the hotel... soon to be a train station too!

We all want (mostly) a statue of Robin Friday, or at least a stand named after him... so on that criteria, who single-handedly changed BHA history?!

Well Charlie Webb WAS Brighton & Hove Albion for a long time. Perhaps I should have put Alan Mullery in the list too, without him he wouldn't have reached the old First Division or had a rivalry with Crystal Palace (can one of the Mods add Alan Mullery to the poll please).

I'll add him to it for you as I agree with that. I voted Charlie Webb though.

hhhmmm This is difficult. I studied the poll for ages trying to decide between Peter Ward and Alan Mullery and then when I read the posts I find Robbie Reinelt

Tell you what, we'll have a statue at each outside corner of the stadium and have 4 heroes

Hey, I thought the initial selection was top drawer. And it's not like it's been up long. And everyone is at Arundel!!!!

:p

Robbie Reinelt. So that in the future kids will ask 'whose that' and the reason why we're at Falmer will always be remembered.

Archer and Bellotti, we will never forget.

What, no Kerry Mayo. His og at Hereford was, imho, just as important as Reinelt strike because Hereford would have been on the attack for the full 90 mins and I feel we would have lost had he not scored that og. Oh and a careers loyal service.:)

Wardy for me without any shadow of doubt. The man is a true Albion legend and, in my view, the most naturally gifted player ever to wear the blue and white stripes.

It would have to be Wardy. Zamora's done fantastically so far, but PW was top class
