We were never paying 22 million for a back up defender, naive to think we would

Potter has big cojones though  (waits to be bounced with “clueless Potter”after the game)

Big call dropping Duffy, but it does makes sense.

"Adam, you're making your PL debut today. Go out there and enjoy it. Oh by the way, you're picking up Sterling..."

Like the look of that side a lot.

Lots of pace and hard work in the side as well as players comfortable keeping hold of the ball when we do win it back. Very sensible IMO but we’ll see what happens.

And re: Duffy, as much as I like him I think we all knew this was going to happen sooner rather than later. Again, it makes sense.

Some of us last weekend were saying Duffy might be rested this weekend for Webster

Not a lot of height in defence with Maupay and Trossard.

It certainly isn't "These are a good side". Even though they are.

Potter was impressed with him though

Didn’t go so difficult to comment, but the goal was his fault.

However given Duffy’s lack of mobility you can understand the change. Personally the way Burn switched off for Stains second, defensively he is a bigger concern IMO.
