Anyone else getting adverts pop up, when you click on a thread to read it.

I have noticed clicking on a thread I wish to read, and it takes me straight to a random advert, do I click on return and go back in to the thread I wanted to read.

Is it just me, and how do I stop it, if possible.

And No, I don't have big fat sausage fingers.

Yes. Just happened to me using Safari on my Mac mini when opening the Wayne Rooney Derby thread.

Sorry Bozza, but it's time to set the content blockers back on until this issue is fixed.

I've not made any changes and have no interest in putting obtrusive ads on.

Can someone please explain what "adverts popping up" actually means in terms of what is happening so I can investigate?

Yes advert also pops up on thread index page so I can’t see thread titles. Bloody frustrating. Sort it out please.

Yes - very annoying - the whole screen gets taken over by an ad.

You click on a thread and instead of going to a thread you go straight to a link as shown in previous replies.
You have to obviously then come out of it and go back in, it happens quite a lot today, nearly every other time.

When you say the "screen gets taken over" is the URL still an NSC URL or has the page been re-directed to a different site?
