It’ll be interesting to see how he does when/if he starts a game. MacAllister is proving to be a great impact sub, but not so great when starting. Frustrating for a player, but sometimes that’s just how it is

Not sure re: Mac.
He started in the great Leeds away win, the Spurs win, the Man City win, off the top of my head.
Both Moder and Mac make things happen. Very exciting.

That first touch when the ball came over his shoulder, just before the Gross attempted chip, was the sort of nonchalant quality that makes me very happy.

And he's still just 22 years old.

Big lad too.

He needs to chin someone before the window closes and he'll find himself placed high in The 7.

He was taking a lot of the set pieces for Poland in the recent games I saw even taking a direct one in shooting range when Lewandowski was also on the pitch.

This. He was clearly the Poles dead ball specialist. He absolutely should start next week. ( Unless of course GP knows better!)

Pity the recruitment team had absolutely nothing to do with his recruitment. How lucky are we that he decided to get on a plane to the UK and come to Lancing to demand a trial.

Not only that but he decided to do it on the last day of the transfer window when it’s well known that the Albion window has shut weeks before.

Thing about Moder is he gets the ball forward quickly , same with Mcalister...

Yes, before they came on we had Gross at a stand still on the right wing waiting for someone to catch up . . . And it's not like Gross set the grass on fire getting there either

That’s how we will score more goals- midfielders actually getting forward. Actually trying to make things happen. And we can do that because we have one of the best DMs in the World. It was so bloody pedestrian up to their introduction.

We've got a glut of young midfielders who 'should' start - Moder, Mac Allister, Alzate - and Mwepu and Caicedo to come. Trouble is, just where do we fit them in? Who do they displace - Trossard? Gross? - could Mac Allister actually play up front?

getting forward fast and people delivering the ball on the deck so our smaller more nimble forwards (or attacking midfield) have a better chance of getting the ball.

Brilliant that we can replace quality with quality in midfield and attacking midfield. It gives us a great chance of changing games we're losing, like yesterday and keeping our team fit

I definitely see MacAllister as an attacking midfielder. To me, he looks like a modern day David Platt, with his uncanny ability to know when to arrive in the box.

I don't see Caicedo or Taylor Richards getting much league gametime
