Iggy Pop played this yesterday on his teatime slot on R6 .... 1978 ..... brought back some memories

this isn't my choice for today though :)

Watch out, THPP may be triggered by such crafty double dipping

I may have mentioned it ten times previously but I won't ever forget that I saw their first ever gig in London at the Nashville where Howard ambled on stage to greet the adoring gathering with 'Read any good books lately'?

Like all good things, on you we depend

Picked up from a TV perfume ad, a bit of digging and:

Stunning, the synths remind me of 1974 Kraftwerk.

Never heard of Suicide before, turns out they’re a cult US synthwave band from 1977 onwards. More wonderful research tomorrow.

Bought the Album early 80's, too depressing for me, recycled via Charity shop in Northwich, wonder who had it next?

I have that album, quite a tough listen, but they were a great band. Unfortunately when they toured the UK they supported punk bands .... the punks didn't get them at all.

Alan Vega died a few years back, but I recommend his last albums 'Mutator' and 'After Dark'

enuff of my wafflin :lolol:

Pet Shop boys live back in 2004 with my all time favourite 'Left To My Own Devices'. Brilliant production by Trevor Horn, who's on stage playing base and singing harmony with Neil on the chorus.
