A player blocked Ryan from taking a drop kick, blocking his every move left and right.

I thought that was outlawed 30 years ago?

That lino might have been in front of the family stand but he was getting a right earful for most of the 2nd half.

First half was villas 12th man, second half he was all over the shop; useless.

Admittedly he did seem inclined to not be taken in by divers.

I thought it would be difficult to see a more incompetent ref than Atwell, but Madely managed it today. He totally lost control.

Kevin Friend and Martin Atkinson are the pits. Pre-VAR, game changing errors every season.

He did it with their players, too. It's about the only positive I can think of, but those 'someone is stood behind me, I'll fall to the ground and the ref'll give me a free kick' decisions always irritate me, so I noticed him (mostly) not giving them.
