Haven’t been to Hove for years. Can you get Harvey’s or other real ale?

Hello.. is that The Dyke Golf Club?.. do you have tee times for three fourballs? 16:00?... yes that'll be fine.

Here
Sussex in meltdown...awful performance with the ball and with the bat. Probably won 2 sessions over 4 bloody days, they're making Durham look like worldbeaters. I think they can forget about 3rd place.

Away from Sussex for the moment, Marcus Trescothick has announced that he's retiring at the end of the season. That gives Ben's Grandad just a couple more months to say that he should be back in the England team

Bye, bye Banger, you were a fantastic player

Once again:

Robinson + Jordan = 98 runs and counting
Wells, Beer, Finch, Van Zyl, Evans, Brown, Wiese = 85 runs total.

Deepest, darkest Sussex
It's almost like signing every bowler we could for the last few seasons and virtually nobody who can bat means we don't score runs.

Exactly. Who could have predicted this?

Why is this? It's not a one-off (or even a two or three-off) it seems to happen every bloody game.
Sort it out Gillespie.

BTW is Yardy still the batting coach? This is what can happen when you appoint ex-players! (With a nod to my posts on the Bruno thread).

It's a bit harsh to include Beer in the latter list - he's a tailender pressed into opening
