Anyone have experience of getting last train back south from Manchester before ? Looks like a quick train from the station at old Trafford to Manchester proper ?
Premier Inn Trafford Centre for us. £92.50 and 25 minute walk apparently. And don't forget extra time and penalties.
Book a hotel, around £90 and all full of Albion fans. You may even get one where you could hitch a lift to the ground or share a taxi.

Caught a tram after the league game. If you’re talking about the cup game the last train back to London is before the end of the first half.
Or make the journey by Seagulls Travel or the Costa Express, you will be back in Brighton by daybreak on Sunday.

Guess I should have figured that out as it styles itself South. There's two at the Trafford Centre. One is a bit closer than the other.
