Could Cardiff be our biggest test since August.

There has to be a defeat sometime and it might come from an unexpected direction. TBH I doubt it on Friday. A lot was made of our lacklustre performance in the away game, but Cardiff were gash. If Murray hadn't fresh aired Baldock's cross we would probably have won easily. Never say never but I have 3-0 in score predictor and feeling comfortable about it.

I agree that Fulham will be a severe test. We should be able to overcome Cardiff even with their 10 men behind the ball in their penalty box.

I see that Whittingham was subbed at half time and Peltier went off injured against Brentford - so perhaps they have selection problems. I'd agree that we should be better than them but if Cardiff can hold us off until about 75 mins then our 1 day less recovery time could be telling - they have some quick guys breaking. I'd want us to be at least defending a single goal lead by then.

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Marshall was always the last line of defence for Cardiff.
And, was a bloody good one at that!
Every time we played them here, he made save after save, and was probably always their man of the match!
Now he's gone we have a good chance to end these draws at home to Cardiff.
I can think of a few other goalkeepers that always seem to save their best display of the season at the Amex in the last few years:-
Darren Randolph - Birmingham City (Now West Ham)
Lee Grant - Derby County (Now Stoke City)
David Marshall - Cardiff City (Now Hull City)
Anybody else think of any more keepers that aren't blocking our way anymore?

I always thought Adam Bogdan was pony but he put in one of the best goalkeeping performances I've seen at the Amex for Bolton a few years back.

I remember that now!! In that bright orange kit! We must have been dazzled during that match!

Back in front of us for Wigan probably on the 17th April. Hoping things are looking a bit more clear cut by then!

Going back over the years Bristol Rovers 1988. Southend 2000. We always have a Christmas/ New Year blip in a promotion year.

Although no doubt they will now doubt park the old bus on Friday.

They have scored and few and conceded many recently. Looks like a good BTTS game.

I'll be posing a similar question to some in the know chaps tomorrow morning.

Well not the BTTS bit.

Well it won't be a bigger test than playing at Hillsborough will it ?

And that was in October.

I've looked at these last 2 games as very tough in some respects - more because it's Holloway & Warnock. We're playing Warnock next and they've picked up a bit recently. Tougher than an out of sorts QPR.
