Too depressing (and accurate!)

It's time to revisit some old, prophetic, dark humour.....

Oh...

Marks & Spencer blames Brexit as it closes 11 French stores

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-58582860

Bodes well for when Johnson's Government 'Gets a bit more of Brexit done' and actually implements some import controls. You know, the ones they have kept on putting back for the last year because they don't want to see shortages on the shelves :shootself

At the rate they are 'Getting Brexit Done', this is going to be crippling businesses for decades to come :dunce:

I blame the French for cheekily enforcing the rules of imports from Third Countries the we helped formulate before we voted to become a Third Country!

Surely they knew those rules are not meant to apply to us?

It appears it has indeed.

It was very noticeable that as it actually became became clear what the 'Good Deal' consisted of, all the more lucid Brexiteers on NSC disappeared off this thread.

9 months later the penny finally dropped for JC Footy Genius, Is it PotG?, Chicken Run and Baker lite, and then finally yesterday, The Daily Mail.

Only Pretty pink fairy left now though I wouldn't hold your breath

It's not admitting you're wrong, it's simply demanding the Brexit that was promised and voted for. Instead people lie to themselves and pretend to everyone else to defend something they didn't vote for
