Probably been done before under another title but search facility doesnt work now. Where is the best place for a brekkie in Brighton before going to The Amex?

Depends where you are coming from, but our usual early kick off routine involves a fry up at the Elm Grove cafe, then jump on the 23 bus opposite the cafe to get to the ground. Jobs a goodun.

Wot no baked beans ? Or is it one of those Bistro/Gastro places where they pile everything on top of each other to hide what your eating?

In a separate bowl, as they should be to stop bean/egg cross contamination, which is the foulest thing that can ever befall a cooked breakfast.

Always very upsetting when the dreaded cross contamination happens. Im a big fan of beans in a seperate bowl should be a staple of all cafes

My mother would turn in her grave at such a statement. When we were young we were poor and didn't even have enough plates in our house for everyone to eat at the same time. - Some had to wait till others finished to get the plates that others had eaten from. They were washed of course though in between sittings
