Unfortunately all the money went on players that couldn't score for toffee and are giving us the fright of our lives. So what do you do then ? (Sack the blokes who recruited them, get in some replacements...and pray that next season will be better). But why do you think we didn't ?
Just because Bournemouth or Burnley or Leicester or Palace or Brentford have done well or were promoted in previous seasons (all with budgets less than ours) is unfortunately not necessarily based on how much they spent on wages and fees . If only it was as easy as that.

When there is a spectacular failure in a team or within individuals that were publicly backed it is rare for those doing the backing to avoid any comeback although this seems to be the case at Brighton. We've gone through two managers, which seemed to be down to the previous recruitment set up before any action is taken but the blame only seems to be directed at Burke.
