A Palce fan I know said it will never happen. Does the infrastructure being put in place mean anything in the long run or not ? It's not the be all and end I all appreciate but what does the future hold in terms of comparison .
It depends how you measure 'bigness'.
Who are bigger - Leeds or Leicester?
Who are bigger Burnley or Birmingham?
We're all far too close to be able to assess Palace v Albion impartially.
6 teams mentioned, 5 have been in the Premier League*...we're still a smaller club At the moment IMO.
*i know football existed before the PL.
We'll ask you ask I'm just pulling up pics of a big club and another of a small club. .... Which is which ?

I think a club should be judged on there away support.
Leeds are a massive club I would say on a par with Aston villa.
I would compare Leicester to west brom
I would compare Birmingham to midlesborough
I would compare burnley to Blackburn
As for us I would compare us to fulham.
Bang on, apart from the Fulham bit. They had sub 5k at home pre-Al Fayed and have a fanbase beyond 5k that is made up soley of tourists. Apart from adding that Herr Tubthumper is a narcissistic middle-aged bore, I'm not sure what else I can add to this debate right now...dot, dot dot, dot dot dot (Renton, Trainspotting)
