One petition closing on 15th has already been answered. Then one each for 14th, 13th,11th; increasing to virtually 100% response for those closed 4 weeks ago.
As the closing date is known as soon as the petition is posted, a department delaying response looks rather inept, to say the least.
It...
If you signed before midnight, even now not to late to see your name on the list, as a couple of confirmations have been accepted this morning.
The Goverment is obliged to reply, and this will be in the public domain, on the internet.
Each signer is sent this direct by email.
Incidentally...
Real time: 23:04, board time: 22:50
Petition closed at midnight 14/2 with total : 3109 votes
Within a few minutes the petition was visible on the Closed list, same count.
On looking midday today, found that the closed list value was still going up! Also showed up on the locked but visible...
Help ! I'm sinking!
After anybody posts on this thread, a rash of posts are made in other threads, and zero interest threads are started which pushes this topic out of sight.
If you want to find it easily, just click the replies or views column, and it will zoom into view.
For a little while...
Earlier, at 09:33: position 43rd, 2787 votes.
+ 50 minutes: votes: 2825 votes, rate: 50/hour.
Rate over last few days roughly +20% per day.
Five votes cast now becomes six within a day, without doing anything, and doubles to ten in about four days.
Pity there is less than a day to run...
At 14:00: 2448, position 46, four up into opening page.
You will see other petitions that you might well wish to support. Make a note, or print page, but sign after Falmer petition has closed, otherwise we won't climb the table.
Votes/points are good news, but now it is table positon that...
Petition website seems to be updating at long intervals instead of more or less instantly.
If you go straight to our petition it shows 2080, but has been stuck at this for an hour or more.
If you go to the index by numbers, it shows 2173. It had also been stuck at 2080, but then jumped to this...
He can't interfere, but he can ensure good governance. Prescott's signature against his departments mistake has played straight into the hands of the stoppers.
Any Government of any colour should be worrying on everybodys behalf why this agony has gone on for so many years. Doesn't look good...

Lord B:
"Has anyone given any thought as to how the Number Ten office might respond to this petition?"
If you go to: http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/list/closed?sort=signers you will be able to check response to already closed petitions. The link bypasses the overloaded main pages, so responds...

percentage wise, we have climbed faster in the last hour than the million vote petition.
The site is a bit slow to repond, but you can get through, as I just have.
51st! Top of page2 now 2050 votes
Page one target is 2197+1, and nearly static.
It's not your vote we need, you will have voted days ago. It's your friends votes that are coming in now. Phone a friend at lunchtime, and we will be well int top page this afternoon.
At 10:50: Votes: 2003, position: 53
To get to top of page 2:
- for position 51 needs: 2020+1, just 18 votes away
The target is page 1 asap:
- for postion 50 needs 2195+1, now 193 votes away.
Why page 1? The top petition, to do with road charging, has over a million signatures. This has meant...
As at 01:11, need just 244 to displace current no. 50.
Last 24 hrs we've gone up 238, 50th has risen just 25.
Bit worrying our rate per day much less than expected at this stage - the tell 2 friends bit hasn't cut in yet, it seems.
