Is there anyone (Brighton fan) on this board who thinks Hyppia should stay?

You make it sound like we have a choice in which division we will be in next year.

We will have a drop in gates next season regardless of the division we are in. Having 6k STH's not show up to many games this season is a clue to where it will go. We will still have the same support but people will go to less games and will purchase on a match by match basis.

We are many years away from that even if we stay up. So unfortunately it's not exactly an option available to us.

You are not really understanding the point. Your view is that if we go down it's all over? My view is we can bounce back stronger if we do.

That is down to the club strategy, how it operates and how good a team you have built.

Not really. You can build the core of your team in L1 and then play with the team that got you promoted like Shampton and now Bournemouth have done. Even Brentford came up and hit the ground running. I am not suggesting that we should deliberately go down, but if we do it is not such a big...

To be honest, the lost revenue is only a concern for the club. They should have shown some foresight in the last January transfer window when we were kissing 30k gates. I don't see just Blooms money going into the club, yes he has paid for the Amex and the Academy, but when you have fans...

We could spend the next 4 or 5 years re-patching up the squad and struggling to be average in the Championship. Whereas in League One you can recruit young up and coming players, develop a style, and learn how to win. Bournemouth built the core of their side in L1 and it didn't do Shampton too...

Is there anyone (Brighton fan) on this board who thinks Hyppia should stay?

Fortunately I chose an apathetic frame of mind for this season. Pinch of salt and all that. The only expectations I had was a struggle. I am even on the belief that we would do well to drop down a division and rebuild the team there because it is virtually impossible to do it in the...

That is debatable, we were the most ill prepared club at the start of the season, barring Blackpool, and I was concerned before Sami even took to the dugout.

If we cast our minds back to the summer, many on here predicted a struggle this season after poor recruitment this summer. Not forgetting an awful January window and a pretty shite one before that, when Oscar arrived the previous summer. No surprise from me where we are now, whether it was...
