Exactly, I had a flat in Goldstone Rd for 3 years,.... I just knew that parking was a lottery on matchdays, but it was for 3 hours give or take, three times a month -ish..... big deal.... you adjust.
Completely ignoring of course those of us commuting in from all point West, in my case the West country and a 3 hour drive, With Mill Rd always full very early.... Coldean, used legally is a good option.... there are many hundreds of us coming in from that far West, stopping somewhere and taking...
No resident can stop parking in their street unless supported by the police or some council by-law....... "their street" was the key part of that question.
If a car is legally parked, they have no right to gripe,.... a road is a public space, and as long as there are no driveway blackages, then there is no reason for action to be taken.
