    gta 5

You limit what you can do after the story is finished

More than that! It's $500k, but in two instalments

Is your console connected to the internet and signed in? BAWSAQ takes data from all players, so needs the network while the other one is local and offline

    gta 5

Some of them are on BAWSAQ

    gta 5

If you can get online, it can be so much fun. I saw someone I knew was online, so picked a fight with them... not realising they had four mates backing them up. Cue a 20 minute chase through the countryside and into the city as they tried kill me and I tried to evade them. I even deliberately...

    gta 5

The interactivity was mostly a phone call from Niko's cousin, Roman, where he would say "HEY COUSIN, LET'S GO BOWLING"

    gta 5

Presumably if you disable the internet on your PS3 before launching the game, it won't detect that there's an update and you'll be able to continue as usual

    gta 5

I should have plenty of time on the weekend so hopefully it's steady by then

    gta 5

To be fair, launching the online portion of the fastest selling game of all time is never going to be a trouble-free experience

    gta 5

You can get to the stocks and shares by accessing your phone's internet (in game, obviously) and going to the money section
  11. shaolinpunk

    gta 5

You can buy stocks straight away, although the real money is in the assassination missions once you've done the first heist that massively affect the share prices of various companies. Means you can basically double character's bank balances with a clever investment

    gta 5

Ha, I didn't even know about them - I drove him to his front door then, as soon as the mission was complete, beat him to death for throwing up in the car
  13. shaolinpunk

    gta 5

The red/blue dots that appear on the map as you're driving around are 'dynamic events' or whatever they're called - random things that you happen to stumble across (a feature taken from Red Dead Redemption) that includes drug deals gone wrong, theft and even giving a lift to someone who is too...

They show up as you progress through the game and stay there until you've done them, don't they?
  16. shaolinpunk

    gta 5

The films are great. I particularly liked the one about the lonely British robot
  17. shaolinpunk

    gta 5

The amount of detail in the world is ridiculous. The backfire from a car can light a trail of petrol for crying out loud
  18. shaolinpunk

    gta 5

In three months we've had the Last of Us and GTA V released. What a great time to be a gamer
  19. shaolinpunk

    gta 5

There are three characters and you can switch between them as and when you choose. When you're controlling one, the other two go about their lives until you jump into their shoes

    gta 5

I played it for four hours last night and must've done five or six story missions at most. Spent the rest of the time wandering around the city, going to a strip club (and seducing the dancer, going home with her and now I get texts from her quite often - she's a bit clingy), riding the...
