My own thinking is that midweek games pose a different problem for the suppliers and caterers and this could be a strategy for the future. If you've already eaten breakfast , lunch and dinner do you opt for a pie or pork filled bap ?

A selection ? Isn't it normally the case of what is left by the time you get to the front of the queue ?

Midweek game ? If they gauge the sales numbers right you can reduce overheads on the production line in the factory. There would be a rebellion if this happened for a Saturday game.
