I think the truth is you forgot/didn't realise how often he played for us last season and edited your post to try and salvage the point you were trying to make.

Why would they be sitting on the bench? Surely they'd be challenging for a first team spot? And surely they're of more use to us adding competition for places than on loan elsewhere? It's a bonkers bit of business any way you cut it, unless there is indeed a much better striker to be confirmed...
