Looking forward to Bladerunner Live. It's at the crappy Brighton Centre but we got in early and nabbed a couple of cheap seats that are positioned well. This has had good reviews with a live band. I like the music and the film (ok, it's a tad over rated) but my mate is a Bladerunner nut so...

Tempted by Royal Blood on the beach. After seeing them at Glastonbury felt their sound really suited an outdoor gig. Might be worth a stroll down there that evening.

Then I would watch out for your ears...... I went to many gigs in small venues in my 20s and 30s including early doors of the Great Escape and got some tinnitus from it - I remember the exact gig when my left ear went wrong, Gang of Four. Ringing in your ears after may be a sign of damaged...

Looking forward to An Evening With Roger Daltry (got v v cheap tickets). I enjoy these type of conversation, q and a, some acoustic, some electric songs, some classic Who, some rarities. He hasn't had a stellar solo career of course but a more interesting one than most. Particularly hoping...

And how were they? Forgot about this show but I have been lucky enough to see them in the earlier days (100 Club in London being my favourite). Do prefer their stuff with Simone. Still have a local made screenprint of their gig at The Haunt hanging on my wall. I was a big fan but haven't...

Thoroughly enjoyed the Elliott Smith charity tribute at the Pipeline tonight (celebrating what would have been his 50th birthday). It would have been upgraded to a bigger venue if they'd sold more tickets. I'm always surprised he doesn't appear to be more well known, he's an utter genius to my...

Tempted with Citadel 2018, to see Tame Impala and The Barr Brothers on an eclectic lineup - but it's also the WC Final....

Treated myself to a ticket to see Go Go Penguin live soundtrack Koyaanisqatsi at the Dome next Sunday, something a bit different, great film (and not seen it for years) and the snippets I've heard of them sound great.

Decided to risk it on two Early Bird weekend tickets for next year's Together the People festival in Preston Park. Really enjoyed this year's Suede day. £49.50 (each) for the weekend and 5 minutes walk from home.

So excited, JD Mcpherson at the Komedia! Love that retro rock n roll sound, if I could pick one gig in Brighton for 2015, this would be it!
