Harley's penalty whilst abysmal, was 100% BETTER than Ulloa's. It was not possible for Ulloa's to score. If he hit that same penalty 100 times the ball still misses the goal every time. If Harley 'hit' his 100 times, the keeper might dive out of the way 6 times, and fumble one...
Exactly. Signings like those two are not 'bad signings'. They're simply speculative punts that didn't work out. Clubs sign loads of players on short contracts, to see how they go. You have to sit through a lot of Baz, Dixon, McFaul and McGiveron types, to land the occasional Bridcutt.
Taking each signing in the context of our situation at the time, I agree that Turienzo is very high up the list.
Harley too - significant fee, and high wages for 2 years, and contributing very little.
Dobbie less so, because whilst he's done little for us, we will recoup most of our money...
