I can't see that at all Kev, sorry. Firstly, going on their current physical conditioning regime, the crocs will be the size of GARDEN SHEDS by then. And as for NSC, their great showing this year was built on the discovery of three tricky, speedy 15 year olds. By 2012 they'll all be wizened...
Not so Mr Mac. Lush also helped with that.
[The GAZEBO, that is  ]
..along with Brett, and Dan and Paul of Agents Orange, and Ben and Matt from my very own Exiles.
Thanks to all, once more, and to Mrs Coach, for arranging the goal-lending in the first place.
I will do exactly that, Richie. There are no rules regarding trophy sponsorship, only that your pledge outweighs the actual cost of the trophy itself. If its one of the existing trophies, that's all you have to do - give me cash. If its an extra 'specialist' trophy, as in this case, I'd liaise...
In fairness Richie, that was only because I didn't know that was the case until afterwards!
You will of course be more than welcome to sponsor a trophy. We can talk about that in good time....
In right with you on that - I ACHE big-time.
The ground is pretty hard to be throwing yourself about on all day, as us keepers in teams with such DISINTEREST in DEFENDING are prone to have to do.
Having witnessed the crocs at close quarters, whilst refereeing their only win, I have to say that they are actually NOT rubbish, just a LITTLE out of shape. There's definitely SOME ability there, but also a little evidence of a SCANT regard to healthy lifestyle choices and physical conditioning....
And I agree with Tim, that BERMUDA SHORTS and ODD SOCKS aside, Sporting were the very epitome of ANTI-FLAIR, in their self-confessed 'Peter Taylor' approach.
They only conceded 3 goals in 6 matches though, so fair play to them...
