Thank him for what he did while he was here, but also thank him for ****ing off as soon Boehly flashed his wallet, becuse if he hadn’t, we wouldn’t have upgraded when we did. Bloom and Barber knew exactly what they were doing letting him go - probably couldn’t wait to pack him and his cronies on...
He'll be back in a PL job within a few months if he wants - not 'top 6' perhaps but a £5m a year gig with West Ham/Leicester/Everton or similar. New generation of Pulis/Fat Sam/Woy musical chair managers.
So Chelsea couldn’t beat Southampton at home because they were ‘strong’ and ‘well organised’, yet L2 Grimsby beat them at St Mary’s. Not a good look Graham, not a good look.

He absolutely wasn’t shite. He improved us massively, but it took time. He had a chairman, CEO and fanbase that were prepared to put up with long spells of dull and frustrating football because the majority could see we were improving. Problem is, just as he seemed to have found the magic...
Completely agree - he looked so, so pleased. I'm convinced DeZ was on Tony's wish list longer than Potter was - but he was at a CL team so out of range for us at the time. Fantastic (opportunistic) move to nab him while we could.
He must love Monday morning……half a dozen 150k/week+ players queuing at his office door asking why they didn’t make the squad that lost to bottom of the league Saints.
Just a bit of perspective on or distraction from the disappointment on here tonight

Nah…he’ll get a colossal payoff (even a year’s pay would take him 4-5 years to have earned with us) and another job when he wants, even if he has to step down a bit in terms of club /salary. If he does get fired can see him ending up at the FA.
