100% trust from Tony in RdeZ……..in turn meaning RdeZ trusts Tony. Exactly how it should be done - imagine it’s the Sanchez and Trossard situations he’s talking about. Really great to see the NDP seems to be stronger than ever.
Hope things turn out well for Big Bob, but pretty pisspoor behaviour...
Personally don’t think Steele was the deciding factor in those scorelines……..and he also kept clean sheets v Man U and Arsenal in the same period, and saved a penalty at Forest (we know Bob’s penalty-saving record is dire). Agree he needs real competition for his place though.
No different to any organisation really - new boss comes in, there will always be someone who doesn't get on/agree with approach etc etc and people react in different ways. No idea what's happened behind the scenes in terms of their relationship but bottom line is that ball-playing out from the...
Good thread here on relative value of data in comparing keepers……….not specific to Steele/Sanchez but partly explains the ongoing (and largely unresolvable) debate on who is the ‘better’ keeper
Exactly - as shot-stoppers, there’s not much between them. They both make the odd mistake (all keepers do), and they’re not far apart on claiming crosses - it’s the ball-playing that’s the key difference.

Do ? What am I supposed to do ? I just find it interesting comparing the views of someone who has seen him for a couple of hours vs someone who has seen him for probably several hundred hours
I’m with Roberto on this.
“Robert is a fantastic goalkeeper. He can make mistakes for sure, it’s not a problem. I make more mistakes than him, this is not a problem for me.”
Yep…….lucky to have him, being a keeper he’ll always be well in scope for those looking for anything negative to jump on. Not sure who they think we should have instead - he’s perfect for DeZ’s style of play.
You need to look into more detailed stats for that kind of data (PSXG - GA for example, Where Bazuno is bottom and Rob is 9th, slightly ahead of WC winner Martinez).
Data here and can be filtered/sorted as you wish

Exactly this. Same goes with his distribution - overhits one or two per game that sail into touch so he gets criticised but it’s because he’s aiming at a target about a square metre or two 60 yards away (and more often than not is bang on).
