Very generous of you, I fully agree with the last sentence of your post. I am fully in support of a national opt out donation register. It would hopefully see a lot more people get the organ that they need.

I understand we only need 1 kidney (is that correct?) but if someone were to donate one, and that persons remaining kidney failed then the donor would be in the same position as your donee! I wish you well of course. :)

Because the majority in my experience, before I stopped answering 2 years ago, were from cold callers. If the call is important they will leave a voice message with a number to call.

Never answer from a withheld/unknown number.
