anyone who thought Griffin came out well either wasnt watching, deluded or already a supporter. yes, he was set upon by the others, Dimbleby and the audience, but he when it came down to it he failed to dissuade the common view he is a racist bigot.
yes, i'm sure some of his policies chime...
i guess that just shows a more grown up yet relaxed programme that can deal with issues properly (best politics program on TV), and it went straight past me untill you point it out.
and he promptly goes on a an incoherent rant. who's been here for 17000 years? the Normans, the Angles, the Jutes, the Danes, the Vikings, the Romans, the Celts, the Franks.... hardly a "we" like he trys to portray.
apart from one about the iraq war, which points? it really is poor all round but dont delude yourself for a minute that Griffin is making any good points.
it is a bit of a gang up on the odd kid, but, given the verbatim quotes from his discussion with KKK members, he isnt doing anything to get out of his corner. what a quality defence about the KKK friend being "an almost totally non-violent member"
i'd love to know why it makes any difference what their parents did during the war, exactly how is Jack Straw "caught out" by this? oh, but then according to Griffin, all servicemen today must surely be war criminals by association with their leaders, so maybe he's caught out himself :glare:.
