Whos controlling what you say on here? They don't seem to be doing a very good job of it if they are as you seem to be saying what you want.

Might be the cheapest way long term. Paying £2.5 million every year for the next 20 years or £30 million on a hotel, and the money from the hotel paying for the academy for the next 20 years.

Never said anything about profits. I said you charge them about £3 million a year which will cover the cost of the Youth academy. You are putting words into my mouth.

There was a article in a hospitality magazine stating the deal was £25 million over 5 years. The club never reveals financial deals.

The difference is the Amex isn't leased out. If the hotel is built then we lease it out and the hotellier deals with the running cost. That is a big difference.

Are you saying once the hotel is built we won't get more than 2-3 million a year? Our catering contract stands at £5 million.

I think he plans to build a hotel, lease it to a hotellier and that will cover its cost. The income from the hotel won't have anything to do with FFP either.

They did show solidarity and say its not fair. but we all know saying and doing is two different things. Money talks pure and simple. The Premiership is too powerful, and we are beholdent to them.

It's true academies are shutting down, but the alternative were clubs would shut down instead. You can say all the bad things about this system (as obviously there are), but ignoring the bad side of the alternative, doesn't do your argument any justice. I am sure without the threat of...

Thats a big risk to take, when failure is clubs shutting down. You guys on the other hand will not use the rules to your advantage as you are taking the moral high ground (I think not). Its really easy doing the right thing when you know in reality it won't have any real affect on the final outcome.

We had to vote the EPPP in. The Premiership said that if it wasn't voted in, they would withhold solidarity payments. Thats some clubs lifeline. You might be comfortable with watching clubs go out of business because you took the moral high ground but I think we done the right thing.

I think you are seasideeagle and glenmurray. We are improving, thats all that matters. We have 2 players going to the Toulon tournament, and 3 playing in the under19 elite qualifyers over the summer. Our Under 15s won the Premier league cat 2 final at the weekend. We are moving in the right...

Yes we did comply, because FFP accounts are based on the normal accounts. They are not the same thing. That is a fact.

I think he means the season before the one thats just finished. Which we still complied with FFP because our estimated FFP loss was £11 million, and we were allowed to loose £12 million.

Its always hard to progress. Could you honestly say that you could see us being in the play-offs two seasons in a row when we first moved into the Amex? From what I remember in the second season Palace fans were talking about 2nd season syndrome, not another season of progress.

Why does believing we will get to the Premiership mean we believe we have a devine right to be there? I think we will get there but I most definitely don't think we have a devine right to be there. I just look at the last 5 years and think to myself if we keep progressing like this then we will...

I once quoted Paul Ince on the BBS when he complimented Brighton. Needless to say the reply from your lot was that he knows nothing about football and his opinions were pratically worthless. Its amazing how opinions change when the compliments are for you lot, never mind the fact that he is the...
