    It's illegal to resell/give away tickets for football matches taking place in England (or matches which involve the England national team). It's not illegal to resell gig tickets. Thought you'd know this, Kev. Was in the Criminal Justice Act.

    In reality, they just send the ticket resale activity 'underground' - and lose some goodwill. Pointless.

    No need for an 'account'. Just use the hashtag. Er, can't remember what it is. But as I said previously, I think you're better off forming private (email/Facebook) groups with fans that sit around you and friends/family.

    Indeed. They're banking on tickets being resold. Or perhaps they want empty (but paid for) seats to ease transport issues.

    Given the high replacement fee for replacing lost cards and the potential hassle of sending/returning, you're better off lending only to friends and acquaintances anyway. Even easier if they sit near you at the ground. Solution is to form private groups - using email lists, Facebook or...
