Possibly, but after us they've got Leicester at home, which should see them right. Maybe they'll try and go at us from the start, but after watching our games against Arsenal and Everton, I wouldn't be surprised if they're a bit more careful and happy to counter attack.
We're obviously a better...
I was incensed for a few seconds until I realised they'd put the line on the last defender, but paused the video on the previous pass, not the assist. But once they drew the lines with the pass from Salah, it was correct.
If we had a week between our games, and didn't have the injuries (and we hadn't been cheated by officials), I'd be looking up rather than down. As it is, I just want to get into Europa, so Liverpool winning and being up for it against Villa at the weekend seems like a reasonable option to me.
You were buddy. Your post #141: "It might but only if we lose something like 6 games of the last 7. Do you think we will ?"
was a direct reply to:
Maybe you clicked on the wrong post by mistake?
So you're actually asking if we think we'll lose all 5 of our last 5 then.
The point made was that "the game at spurs is going to f*** us over big time"
and you think that's only if we lose all 5 of our remaining games?
I think you need to re-evaluate your permutations.
Exactly.
In a football game, there are 11 people against you, trying to force you into mistakes, and mistakes will happen - that's the sport. But there's no excuse for the decisions against us at Spurs. Everything is geared towards helping the officials make the right decisions and not make...
How did the Everton game **** us over more? We'd have been on 58 points (not including all the others officials have robbed us of) before that game, and would have been under less pressure. And even if we'd lost it, we'd still be on 58 points (not including all the others officials have robbed...
If they beat us:
they'll be on 60 points, plus anything they get from Liverpool. If we beat SCC, we'll be on 58 points. So we'd need at least 2 points from our games against Arse, Newc and City. That's a big ask.
I seem to remember the interviews at the time, and there was no comment from Palace about offering him the opportunity to stay on, or Roy saying he didn't want to stay on.
