The disruption message has now gone from the Southern site. I don't know if that means it's fixed or whether Southern have just given up and gone home .... by car, obviously.
The message on the Southern site hasn't changed since first thing this morning. No mention of when it's back to "normal". Have already told my boss I have no idea if I'll be in tomorrow.
Interesting. At Shoreham station earlier they were saying as the issue was at Hassocks, the only way up to town was via Arun valley. Glad I didn't give that a go and came home.
That is the upshot. At least that is possible, but it's a real p*sser. Had last week off sick, so to have to take even more days out of the office is a real pain.
