I think De Zerbi let Sanchez stay in goal after the palace mistake so as not to totally undermine him. Steele made 2 good saves Saturday. There were a couple of times his first touch with feet wasn’t great but that will come with time. I still think we’ll be looking for a more stable goalkeeper...

I’m taking back my ‘get rid’ and other border line nonsense I posted yesterday. Typed in a frenzy of frustration. (Although he does need to do some catching training 😉).

He dropped a ball that a small child would have caught. What part of this thread don’t you get ? Good shot stopper, prone to horrendous mistakes, that he often gets away with but not today. The result is on his shoulders. Get rid.

That was an awful mistake and I think time on the bench would serve Mr Cool good. He’s got away with lots of mistakes, just they haven’t been punished. He couldn’t catch a football !!!!!

Hands up. Sanchez had a superb game today and the last gasp dive to keep out the goal bound shot was brilliant. Well done Robert (and the rest of the boys).

Cough Cough…… He’s a liability people. What’s wrong with changing a goalie like we do outfield players (during the season) ?

It’s just the occasional flapping at corners when pressured (Watford and West Ham spring to mind). As you say didn’t have much to do. His actual saving is superb but the occasional basics worry me. As I said, I’m not moaning, it’s just a slight concern to me.

I think this team is the best I’ve seen in my 47 years. My only minor argument is with Sanchez. Just seems too flappy at corners and far to relaxed when releasing the ball with an on rushing centre forward. This is not a Moan just a genuine query. Could we get a better keeper or are we all happy...
