If I go to Japan, which I hope I will, I would only go to Tokyo to see this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nakagin_Capsule_Tower and then move along.
Capital cities are rarely the most interesting ones.
Handball is one of the most popular sports here (behind football and ice hockey), just like in pretty much every European country besides the UK (for some reason) so it falls into the "good stuff" category over here.
The Discovery owned channel (Kanal 5) has mainly been showing... powerwalking...
Discovery owns a free TV channel over here so they have showed a lot of stuff, probably to fulfill this deal, but mainly stuff no one wants to see and saving the good stuff for the paid channels.
Didnt see much at all since Swedish public service couldnt afford any rights to it. Its a bit shite - the Olympics usually turn kids into trying out sports but doubt it was the case this time around as not a lot of people want to get some expensive TV channel just to watch random sports.
Sweden knocked out of the table tennis tournament... feels bad. Always enjoyed watching Jan-Ove "Mozart" Waldner back in the days.

I will only be watching the handball tournament and the womens football tournament, I think. Struggle to care about boring sports when stadiums are empty.
