No need at all. I work with RTA's and liability (with the occasional look into Civil cases) and I'm interested in the Criminal courts/sentencing.

I'm talking about Charging GBH (Max 5) alongside Dangerous Driving (Max 2).
For anyone else interested and unaware, S20 = Section 20 of the Offences against the Person Act 1861.

But the aggravated vehicle taking is an entirely separate offence to the injury caused to the victim.
Also, there's no AVT if the current suspect is the perpetrator (if it's a story/fob).

7 years max, Dangerous driving combined with GBH.
14 years if a fatality has occurred.
Don't forget the GBH when sentencing.
My money's on 5 years.
I don't know how to interpret it.
YESTERDAY: Sussex arrested a 31 year old guy for causing injury by dangerous driving.
TODAY: Crimestoppers offer a £1000.00 reward to catch/identify the driver.
It's worth noting that the 31 year old was evading Police capture.

Male for causing injury by dangerous driving, perverting course of justice and aggravated vehicle taking.

We've seen the video and can make a good/accurate judgement of the character behind the wheel.
They are all of the facts.
The only mitigating factor is if the driver was in a critical/life-threatening situation.
