Albion 2013-14 season tickets - ALL the details

Nobody is being forced to buy tickets, the club have told you the cost for next season and set out why. You are only being ripped off if you feel that your are not getting value for your money. Bliss is everything.

You are doing it again, read on What about the drivers, walkers, cyclists, short-distance travellers ? I think Mr. Barber covers that in this quote: I am well aware that some fans do not believe they should have to pay the travel subsidy, because they do not use the train or bus services to...

Albion 2013-14 season tickets - ALL the details

You already get reduced rates and yet you still moan. The whole infrastructure around the ground had to be improved and its only right that everyone pays for that. The price you pay for the car parks has nothing to do with it, they are rented from the UNi and the council and therefore you are...

Albion 2013-14 season tickets - ALL the details

You use the stadium, and its the club that have to pay as part of the planning permission. All they have done is include it in everyone's ticket. I take it you travel to the car park, the surrounding roads were improved and paid for by Brighton, the same for the paths that lead to the ground.

FYI If you can find 3 other friends and go by car, then the parking is only £2:50 per person which is reasonable. Would be a good idea if in the summer they had a thread for car shares. As next year it will be harder to park near the ground

I suggest you read the thread before jumping in with a load of shite. I did not suggest the club put the parking prices up. My point was aimed at the person who did not want to pay the travel subsidy. They felt they were paying for something they did not use as they travel by car. My point...

Do you get straight out then if you park, to bridge car park it's a good 5- 10 minute walk and then at least 20+ minutes to get out, unless of course you leave 5 mins before the end of a game. I do not know about the uni car parks, would have thought its about the same. The trains would handle...

Albion 2013-14 season tickets - ALL the details

The car parks do not belong to Brighton, well the uni and bridge ones are not. So they have to pay the uni and council to hire them and that cost is passed on to us. The other point is that there is limited parking. If you make it free for cars of 4 people in, then you would have most people...

Albion 2013-14 season tickets - ALL the details

Again they are hired ( Uni, Bridge car parks)and that is an extra cost that is maybe covered in the cost they pay. Then they have to be manned by stewards and again surrounding roads were improved and pathways from car parks to the ground. Maybe the club could say to the people who park, no you...

What about the drivers, walkers, cyclists, short-distance travellers ? Subsidy for them I think Mr. Barber covers that in this quote: I am well aware that some fans do not believe they should have to pay the travel subsidy, because they do not use the train or bus services to the stadium on...

Albion 2013-14 season tickets - ALL the details

Went to Cardiff on Tuesday and parked right outside away entrance for £5 and that's the problem, some think they are paying for something they do not use. Well they do, money was spent on improving the surrounding areas of the Amex even for those who walk. £2 a match is not a lot of money to...
