On one level you've got to feel sorry for Barber-out, the he-witch. He's spent the last 6 weeks dealing with a very difficult situation. It's been handled in house and in the main respected by the fans. He's edging towards closure, appoints a new manager, there's light at the end of the tunnel...

It does seem odd. The Albion virtually invent real ale at football. Within 2 seasons x amount of teams follow suit, seeing it as the money spinner it is. Then the Albion drop Harvey's.

My Albion Harvey's was just about the only 'regular' pint or 2, I've drunk for quite a while. If I could lay off bread, Frosties and Haribo as easily, Greenpeace wouldn't be so eager to push me into the sea.

Amen to that. I can feel a new product coming to the market. Some kind of real ale lyrca tie-in, what's not to love. There are plenty better ales available than Harvey's. I'd be doubtful about the quantity and quality of ale a brewery could produce that isn't on the doorstep. I'll not be...
