Not that I know of, Gus is in Uruguay as mentioned before so maybe there will be more progress on it when he returns, don't forget there are a number of clubs chasing his signature and in the world of football anything could happen but before Gus went it did look very close to happening.

That's fair enough, I'm just saying at least it shows he has loyalty. It'd have been a good signing (maybe it's still possible) but I think Poyet probably has his eye on someone better.

It doesn't look like Trotter is happening, my sources at Millwall seem to think he'll be signing a contract extension, failing that then a move elsewhere.

I really do hope we sign Trotter, he's an excellent powerful midfielder with a good eye for goal. Mattock would be a solid signing at Left back, just what we need, although his loyalty with his previous clubs in the past always take a U turn.

The other player being Millwalls Liam Trotter. They would be 2 very solid signings. Trotter is much better than Navarro from what I've seen.
