We've only won 6 league games all season and 4 were in the first 5 matches. I like the football and i like our league position but we've had 3 seasons to work out how to turn huge amounts of possession against bottom half teams into wins and we still can't do it.

Let me bring this back to reality. Yet again we have dominated a match and failed to win. This happens with monotonous regularity against teams in the bottom half of the table, 3 seasons now. Disappointing, to say the least. If you're happy at failing to beat Newcastle, Norwich, Palace...

So that's around 8 matches this season where we have dominated but failed to win (I'm only counting the average and shit teams, not the ones above us in the table).

Beating a team that plays defensively in the low block means beating the team, not drawing or losing.

FFS, Norwich, Newcastle and Leeds were all shite but we couldn't beat any of them.

Yes, sorry, I'm feeling and sounding negative this evening because, yet again, we have had 65 to 70% possession, numerous attempts at goal and failed to win. That's probably the 7th or 8th time this season and the 20th time in the last 3 seasons. It's our longstanding achilles heel.

I'm not flouncing. They've had 3 seasons to find a way to convert massive possession stats into points and they still fail.
