I was aiming to reflect how times had changed. Maybe I’m wrong but I doubt there are as many 11 year olds these days who would have the required patience(or interest) - the internet means it’s a different world now and childhood seems very different. Maybe it’s better but I enjoyed mine!

Agreed - and thanks for all the photos! For the first time in ages yesterday I had the main TV to myself and did the TMS commentary alongside the Sky pics(time adjusted obvs). TMS remains the benchmark for me - even though dear old Johnners, CMJ etc are long departed sadly, Aggers , Tuffers etc...

There is nothing quite like the sight of a really fast bowler sending stumps flying to take a wicket. Fantastic!
