    BAFTA's tonight

Deserved I think. In fact, while i may not agree with all the nominations, out of those nominees I think they got it pretty much spot on. I could listen to DDL speak all day long. That is one man with supreme presence.

    BAFTA's tonight

Agreed although I don't think it really matters how long they have been out as if I'm correct (I may be mistaken) it's the acadamy that votes so it doesn't really take into account general popularity and bums on seats.

GBG, is very good. Casey Affleck in lead, for my money one of the best actors around. Very, VERY upsetting subject matter (missing/murdered children) but pulls no punches and is utterly engrossing.

    BAFTA's tonight

Agreed. I have to admit Lincoln wa sthe first film I have ever walked out of. An hour in I couldn't take it anynmore and went home for tea and toast. Argo was very good. Ben Affleck is making a well deserved rep for himself. His directorial debut Gone Baby Gone was superb, have you seen it?

    BAFTA's tonight

Finished? Good. Anyway, I'd like to see Argo garner some awards but looking at the list I think Zero Dark Thirty or Lincoln will bring home the most awards.

Um, are yo ublind. That is just what I said. Anyway, it's called having your own opinion, something, judging by your crying and flouncing episodes, of which there are many, you seem to take issue with. Christ, you must be a wow at parties.

Yeah, I enjoyed that and I don't really like animated stuff.

Uhm, I just said I like DDL performance. But that doesn't really fit your agenda of "Poor me,everybody slags my choices off, they must hate me" Come up with something half decent and I'll probably like it.Bang on about f***ing Spielberg and all that wishy washy, saccahrine horsehsit you lap up...

    BAFTA's tonight

How did Bradley Cooper get on that list!

    BAFTA's tonight

I thin DDL gave a fantastic performance just a shame Spielberg surrounded it with such benality. I haven't enjoyed a Spielberg film for decades. However I appreciate you are an unconditional fan.

    BAFTA's tonight

It's a big deal in the sense that it boosts the British film Industry and from the point of view of receiving one, your value goes up in the industry. I'm not a huge fan of awards shows but inteerested to see who wins. Although looking at that list there aren't many surprises. The turgid Lincoln...

Yes. BAFTA's are a big deal.

    BAFTA's tonight

Yes/ Although I think the music Industry has always been like this. U2 and Foo Fighters are 2 of the biggest, richest bands in the world and they produce, bland, unchallenging rock music for teenagers and middle aged men with no imagination. We have always had to search out good music. Thank god...
