that is what I am thinking too, but god forbid this should get rejected, there will just be a big muddy hole left, if we did start in december before knowing the result of the hearing
if the club are expecting the council to hear our application in December/January, are we allowed to start building in December like Perry has stated in the past, or arer we to expect another delay??
i meant that the hill will be removed and spread across the neighbouring field. It doesnt matter of the pitch is flat anyway, the ball only touches the pitch about once every 3 minutes they way we play
It looks like its just going to be a bigger version of the same stadium, but not sunk into the hill, so all it will be doing is standing out more loud and proud
I have asked the mods to change the thread title to remove the 30,000 seats bit as the Argus got in touch with me to say that it is wrong and the sub editors got it wrong and I mis-read the article. I was just shocked into writing what i did first thing on a monday morning
Apologies to everyone x x
why would they come out of the woodword, when a small 22,000 seater stadium, designed to blend in with the surroundings is replaced by a 30,000 seater stadium made of 4 blocks and huge metal roofs that stand out of the land like fat bird in disco??
The LDC were against a small stadium that BLENDED into its surrounding environment,
What the f*** are they going to think about a BIGGER stadium, which is made of 4 block stands with big metal roofs ???
:shootself
Perry says work will being in December 2008 as planned, but I cannot be arsed to type out the WHOLE article, the Argus should have their website up to date, if a story is this BIG
Whats it going to look like, now it has to be 4 sided with a metal roof to comply with new regulations.
We now know this is NOT allowed to be buit :(
Can we honsetly start building work in December 2008 when the thing hasnt even been designed yet??
