You can't compare the two chances. One was about TWO yards out, the other was played behind a player who had literally just come on, and about 4 times the distance out. Barnes would've buried Fryatt's chance, no question.
And he is up to this level, as his goals to games ratio proves.
He's had his chance to shine over the last 3-4 years. And he has SHONE. His goals to games record speaks for itself. He is a DECENT Championship striker, who is still improving.
I know the thread is not full of doom and gloom, but there is enough negative nancys for my post to be relevant. People are talking as if our season is over already.
