I don't believe Tony Bloom is as naive as you are suggesting he is. He would've been fully aware at the start of the season that it was LIKELY Vicente wouldn't play many games.
Spot on. How deep will the hole B.W. has dug be when Vicente puts us in the Premier League?
"ah, yes, but I have a source who told me Vicente is sleeping with Tony Bloom's wife. I'm just telling you what I can..."
The club will be happy to get 10 or so performances out of him. It was known he was a risk when he signed. WE KNEW ALL THIS. If he was fit enough to play 20+ he'd be at Fulham, or Aston Villa. We've got him BECAUSE he gets injured a lot!
Stop saying that chairman bit as if it has become fact. It hasn't. It's PURE speculation. Buying him was ALWAYS a gamble (i.e. might not pay off). We KNEW when we bought him that there was GOOD chance he wouldn't play many games.
You're saying if he played the rest of the season (in which case...
You are aware that EVERYONE knew he was very, very injury prone when he joined, yes? If he wasn't, he'd be at a mid level Prem club at the very lowest.
Of course you'd offer him another year?! What a f***ing stupid question. Like others have said, I just feel privileged to have what was one of the BEST players in the World play for little old BHA.
Still, jury's out eh?
