Agree with that. The Club are saying that they won't comment on a specific case - but how can that be the case here, when the Ombudsman has become involved, and made their comments Public? It would take two lines in the programme to put this to bed, and of course the guy sould be compensated...

He did indeed. It's in the report. His Boss's Partner wanted to sack him. (BTW, could the two threads on this subject be MERGED please, as they are covering common ground?)

Good point. However, this case is worrying in so far as the club banned the guy without even hearing his side of the story, and before all the witness statements were taken. That is piss poor. If RH is ex Police, then perhaps this explains why he 'appears' to have taken the word of the Albion...

I have now finished reading the report for the second time. Lots of lessons to be learnt here, and firstly I hope the fan concerned has received an apology for the way in which he has been treated. Let's hope the club gets permissiomn for those 'Away Fan' Hospitality suites ASAP.

I agree with points 1 and part of point 2, however not with point 3. Mistakes were made, hopefully lessons will have been learned.
