Well my last word will be to point out I haven't given my opinion on the new EDM, I asked for yours and you assumed mine. I have made my point on this thread and will now leave it in peace. I'm just glad there are lots of different people who still care enough to do everything they can to push...

So you are saying the response to the new EDM will be negative then. And the reason not to sign the petition was to keep focus on the (then upcoming) EDM? Hmmm...

Fair point, and I appreciate that this is a very delicate situation. I'm not suggesting that this is used as some new spearheading of the campaign. All I know is that had it been me instead of TG, I would not have minded. But as you say it is down to the family to decide, not us and right now...

What I don't understand is why are you so bothered about what is written on forums or local rags by the anti-Falmer brigade regarding one petition? They were against Falmer before, and they will be after this. There will always be an argument put forward against the stadium whatever we do, does...

Then I would suggest that a) we encourage as many people to sign as possible and b) consider the media response (as suggested earlier on this thread), to any public attack on the petition. The sad last post of TG, and the fact that he will never see Falmer built is far and away the more relevant...

By a post on the Peacehaven forum? Hardly likely to derail the wheels of government methinks.

Tom, you are one of the PREMIER posters on this site and I love you dearly but please... you're not serious? Are you saying zego is LDC in disguise, encouraging us to sign because it will give them the ammunition to finnally kill off Falmer once and for all?

As far as I can see, it is only you doing that, not the petition. If FFA are going to launch a petition next week then we will get behind that too, where's the harm?

Agreed. How can an individual spending 60 seconds signing an online petition be a negative thing? As has been very well put already on here, the thing exists so surely 2000 is better than 200? As for TG being the 100th signiture, in my view the best tribute to him would be to sign and make it...
