Me and every other person I have known in my 28 years of London living. Would you like to buy my prediction for Saturdays Lottery off me as I clearly am blessed? Or, more likely, London is just a bloody great place to live for the vast majority of it's population.

I've lived in London on and off for 28 years and have had no personal experience of any of the above despite having lived in Peckham, Bermondsey and Leytonstone at various times. Any city of this size has problems but I can't say that I, or anyone I know have been adversely affected.

Well if you say the world is in a mess, it kind of assumes that there was once a time when it was tidy. I'd be interested to know when you think that time was as maybe we can learn from history? So this new future with new ideas, you're not referring to the BNP with that are you?

A great leading question there re what has the government done. The answer is clearly more complex then you would like it to be once again, but we do get back to Atilla's point about New Labour being a contributary cause to the current improvement in the BNP's fortunes. I think dissatisfaction...

Correct to a degree, but again it is also due to the global recession, the rise of Islamic extremism, the expenses scandal, decades of mismanagement of UK border controls, rising concern over violent crime etc etc etc... Also, you could knock on every door in Belgravia everyday but I don't think...

This is what annoys me about the margins of political thinking whether it be left or right. No one single reason is to 'blame' for the success of the BNP, just as immigration is not the sole cause of all of this country's ills. Both no doubt are influences but this clear cut, black and white...
