    I think you'll find that's Pompey

Only repeating what I heard had allegedly happened, I think I saw it on here so no, not necessarily a fact. But I find it very odd that he hasn't seen fit/been invited back given what he did for us and that he didn't get the chance to have the fans thank him in the stadium

You just know that if he goes there it will be when it all comes together don’t you  If they don’t panic and sack him after 6 weeks…

The credit I am giving him is that the players were comfortable on the ball and able to play in a style that RDZ has tweeked big time. That gave RDZ the ability to hit the ground running with the style he implemented. I am thrilled with how we play but Potter’s legacy has certainly helped, in...

Pointless entering into an argument with you about Potter. You never rated him and have never given him any credit for anything, slagging him off in every post you make about him. That to me is spouting nonsense. Shall we leave it there and just agree we don’t agree about him in any way?

What sort of moron goes to a press conference he finds boring unless it’s a job he/she is being paid to attend?

I am no big business guru, but decency would suggest taking Chris aside and telling him rather than him finding out when he tried to get into the training ground imo. Surely he deserved a bit of respect and I say that as someone who was 100% behind a change of manager.

Daft and usual slagging off. Without the the mindset and abilities of the players honed by Potter, I doubt De Zerbi would have taken the job and we would certainly not have seen the season we’ve just had. Your anti Potter stance is pretty clueless and unpleasant imo  He laid the basis...

    [Albion] Graham Potter

I only heard recently, he allegedly turned up at the training ground the day after the City game to find his pass to get in had been disabled. Bad taste for me and no surprise he has no ambition to come back to the Amex…if true

I never thought I’d type this, as I was a big Potter fan following CH, but Potterball is Poundland De Zerbiball :lolol:

Better hope he takes it as De Zerbi is also on their shortlist :lolol:

I imagine his previous backroom staff may

    [Albion] Graham Potter

Does this mean, if he lands the job, he won’t be taking any of the backroom staff with him this time? According to the article he’ll also have to wait until the Manchester United takeover is completed as Nice are owned by Ineos who are competing with an Oil State for United. From Talksport...

I did NOT hate Hughton! I loved what he did here, he got us to the promised land in style after a massive disappointment the previous season, but harsh reality is that he was not able to be braver in his style of play against better sides. The last few months and his tenure at Forest are proof...

You do have a point, but in fairness he had the worst group of players we had in the Championship and they could not have been more unsuited to how he wanted to play. He was also the dullest ever Albion manager. I did enjoy the game at Norwich though.

Hundreds and the last few months of CHball were the most depressing games I’ve ever seen and that includes the “war years” for me. Potter was a breath of fresh air and teeth sucking

We played some fabulous football under CH in the Championship, the football we played in his last six months here was as bad as I've ever seen from a club who didn't get relegated from the PL. It was absolutely dire and he needed to go, in fact I stopped going by the end

    [Albion] Graham Potter

He was the right man at the right time and although I was pissed off with the way he left, taking the coaching staff with him, you won't ever hear me suggest he didn't do a great job here. De Zerbi inherited a team who easily adapted to his methods, that would not have happened at most clubs...

Agreed, both changes of manager have been traumatic but pretty seamless.
