when i moved down here 6 years ago,i must be honest,i found it quite amusing,taking it all so seriously,like us with football shirts if you like
but now i know different,cycling is bordering on a religion down here...
will be there tomorrow,when they go through auch,when they pass the new fountain roundabout,there's a little climb of around 2kms,that's where i'll be on the exit of the town,60's brighton shirt,the boy will try and squeeze into his old blue & white stripes shirt and i'll have a 4ft union jack
in theory one might think you could gain more time riding up a mountain,than time trialing,but it doesn't seem to be the case
although pantani did win the tour
