It’s perfectly obvious to me now, that we have fundamentally different outlooks on life, which is fine. It would be boring if we all thought the same, did the same things etc.
The one (and only in most likelihood) thing we have in common, is our support for BHAFC.

No point, just sharing my opinion that teachers and kids should have been in school and not in Pizza Express on a Tuesday lunchtime in term time.
Why does that make me strange?
My wife took our 2 kids to pizza express for lunch and there were a few people with strike placards with kids lunching there as well. Obvs having a break from a hard day striking.
Pleased Pizza Express got more lunch traffic, but the kids should have been using their Squid cards instead.
Local Primary school to me had a solitary guy outside waving a little flag.
School was fully open, staff car park full.
Both secondary schools mini GB’s attend closed to all but years 10 and 11. No online lessons provided.
Today there are figures showing there are more households who receive more net government spending than they put into the chicken on the kitchen table (bonus point on the chicken reference)
That is not sustainable
All I know is and have experienced as I’ve grown older, If I can express my real truth (to coin a phrase). The more money I earn, the more my money is taken away from me in tax to fund our necessary public services, to which we all depend. I have an issue when that money is not spent wisely.
I love the debate this has generated. Exactly why I started the thread.
Shows it is extremely difficult (and I’d argue) almost impossible, to balance the needs/responsibilities of the state, taxation levels, educating our future workforce etc who gets what slice of the pie whilst keeping economy...
