If true, I guess this could be to allow us to decide whether we want him on a permanent deal after we know which league we'll be in next season? I do hope that he gets more game time than some of our recent temporary fixes (Lita, for example)....
I think we're pretty much agreeing actually. My point is simply that by "just wanting to play in England", he showed cojones and co-incidentally he's helped us recruit further Spanish players, for the reasons you cite.

I'm not so sure. Buckley's legs seem to have gone. Granted, he had them when he joined us, but we seem happy enough to have continued paying him despite them having disappeared. We could cut all the boring waiting around out and just buy a player with no legs. It would save time.
