Very true, would the sincronised swimming (I can't even spell it!) or Handball have sold out unless people had been desparate in the second chance sales. At the end of the day the organiser don't give a toss about the fairness of the system so long as they sell 100% of the tickets
By the way...
Was going to apply for the Canoe sprint finals but the category B tickets shown as available on the pdf were not there, only the £95 Category A tickets, that was too much for a two hour event.
I didn't realise you could only apply for three events, maybe they should have done that in the first...
No of course I didnt think it would just be me that gets online at 6am for the few (non football) tickets that's left, BUT for people who where already lucky enough to be able to take their family to an once in a lifetime event to then try and take more tickets away from those who didn't have...
So you get up to be online next Friday morning and order some tickets from the rubbish that is left, they have just said on TV that, even though its a first come first served, you will buy a ticket but you won't know for two more days if you have actually bought a ticket.
Oh for god's sake, they list all the events you assume their are tickets available for, you click the link, or example tennis, and all the dates and prices are cross out so there are no tickets. Why cant they just list what is available
Nothing for me.
I'm not at all surprised I didn't get cycling or athletics but I did expect either archery or equestian surely they were not over subscribed
